Attendees will learn about compliance and risk management assessments and controls within each business unit across the dealership, with an emphasis on F&I and Sales. The seminar will provide compliance officers with the education, guidance, and tools to implement a dealership Compliance Management System.

At the end of the seminar, the optional Dealership Compliance Officer Professional Certification examination will be available online.

Hourly Sessions include:

• Introduction of compliance management elements – as defined by the FTC, CFPB, and Federal Sentencing Guidelines - for the implementation and organization of an effective dealership compliance management system.
• An introduction to the federal regulations that govern not only automotive retail leasing and selling operations but also compliance policies and practices that govern dealership employees, business offices, human resources, advertisements, and marketing, and customer and employee communication.
• Environment health and safety module for the Compliance Officer awareness.
• Human Resources policies and practices required for effective dealership compliance.
• Guidelines to assess effective training practices.
• Confidential leadership assessment, including DISC, MBTI, and Enneagrams. Based on your completed assessments, an algorithm will provide personalized leadership development tips with integrated coaching on a weekly basis.
• Policy and compliance resources to download and customize.
• An additional training module focuses on the updated Safeguard Rule with emphasis on the latest provisional requirements.
• Optional DCOP examination for Dealership Compliance Officer Professional Certification.
